Since the symposium, I have listened intently and the number one complaint so far, is costs. Therapists and instructors are trained. But the extremely high costs of on-line advertising are making it too difficult to “get the word” out about the classes. Teachers are angry. They also acknowledged that publications were hesitant to support/print their news without them paying for an advertisement. They said that basically these publications have become product guides, with very little actual news about massage.
